Il PAV è un Centro sperimentale d’arte contemporanea, inaugurato
nel 2008, su un'idea dell’artista Piero Gilardi sviluppata insieme
all’architetto e paesaggista Gianluca Cosmacini.
The PAV is made up
of a part dedicated to open-air exhibitions and an interactive museum that develops the themes of biotechnology and ecology through works
of art and nature, together with the public and the artists.
Collection of the PAV of Turin
The PAV has a green area of approximately 23,000 m2 obtained from a former industrial area where there are 21 environmental installations including the installation Trèfle by Dominique Gonzalez-Foerster, the garden Jardin Mandala by Gilles Clément and the interactive installation Biome.
The park area also hosts cultural and artistic events.
There is also a PAV Award to promote environmental interventions and installations within the park area.
History of the PAV of Turin
The PAV is an experimental center for contemporary art, inaugurated
in 2008, based on an idea by the artist Piero Gilardi developed together
to the architect and landscape designer Gianluca Cosmacini.
In 2010 the PAV Award was born to promote environmental interventions and installations within the park area.
